Overview
The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA) is an inter-industry trade association open to all parties interested in the advancement of network branded (open-loop) prepaid cards. Its goal is to represent the common interests of the many players in this new and rapidly growing business. By bringing together a cross-section of network branded prepaid card leaders during the industry’s formative years, the NBPCA can serve as a catalyst and to contribute to the long-term success of the prepaid marketplace.

The NBPCA is the brainchild of Anil D. Aggarwal, CEO of TxCore, Inc., who identified the need for a trade association dedicated exclusively to advancing the interests of the network branded prepaid card industry and used his industry knowledge and relationships to generate widespread support for an open, representative, and transparent organization that will serve the needs of its members.

To ensure that the NBPCA fully and accurately understands and represents the industry’s needs, a series of meetings were held during the last week of October 2005. The purpose of these meetings was to elicit ideas and opinions from an inter-industry cross-section of leaders on the appropriate role for the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association.
